Darlington - Mrs. Susie F. Maxwell, 56 died Saturday afternoon at her home here. She had been in failing health several years. Born in Montgomery County, she was married in 1914 to Ales L. Maxwell. She was a member of Darlington Congregational Christian Church. Surviving with the husband are none sons: James and Richard, both of Lafayette; Marian and Darrell both of Dalrington; Harry M. of Thorntown; Alvin of Putnamville; Robert of Crawfordsville; Frnaklin D. with the Army in Germany and Donald of Colfax; six daughters: Mrs. George DIetz of Anderson; Mrs. Lester Ellis of Linnsburg; Mrs. John VanCleave of Yountsville; and mrs. Jesse Harwood of R 2, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Lonnie Burchield (sic) of Darlington and Mrs. Warner Lane of Anderson; one brother, Robert Dowden of Crawfordsville and one half-sister, Mrs. Ed Shuler of Crawfordsville - transcribed by kbz
